Our Story

Hello there! I’m Joanna, a 2nd grader from North Carolina. I started Sensory Jars for Kids after watching my mom pay another adult for the small play dough party favors we had at my brother’s birthday party. I told my parents that I could make better ones – and the idea for Sensory Jars for Kids was born.

I took my allowance money and my Mom drove me to our local craft store where I had a blast combining miniature figurines, gems, rocks, toys, and play dough to make our first Jars. You won’t find any “fluff balls” in my kid-made and kid-approved sensory Jars! Maybe it takes a kid to know what kids love?

Our sensory Jars are bigger, better, and have MORE toys included than the ones the adults make!

We have lots of Jars to choose from and if you don’t see something you love, I would love to make custom ones for you to fit any party or theme! I can’t wait to hear from you!
