Our Story
Hi! I’m Joanna, a 2nd grader from Marvin, North Carolina. I started Sensory Play Jars for Kids after watching my mom pay another adult for the small playdough party favors we had at my brother’s birthday party. I told my parents that I could make better ones – and the idea for Sensory Play Jars for Kids was born. My brother and I combined our allowance money and mom drove us to our local craft store where we had a blast combining miniature figurines, gems, rocks, toys, and play dough to make our first jars. You won’t find any “fluff balls” in my kid-made and kid-approved sensory play jars!
